Earlier this week Ms. Burnette's 6th graders were hard at work together finding textual evidence to include in their essays. Text evidence = essay power! Our students are learning how to make their writing stronger by proving their points with details from the text.

Mrs. Smith’s 7th graders got into the Halloween spirit with suspenseful pass-around stories! Students worked together to build spooky tales one paragraph at a time using figurative language & story elements, voted on their table’s best story, & shared them with the class. The winning table earned a Halloween treat for their chilling creativity!

Our first basketball home game is this Thursday, October 30 against Clark-Shaw at 3:30PM. We will kick off the season with a pep rally during 6th period. Students can attend by purchasing a ticket during PE for $3. Students planning to attend the game can purchase tickets to the pep rally and game for $10.

Causey's D&D Club applications are now available in Ms. Fulford's room 753. Students interested in joining can pick up an application. All applications are due by November 7, 2025. Students need a teacher recommendation form filled out by all 4 core teachers.

We’re excited to announce the 2025–2026 Causey Project Outreach list! This amazing group of students will help lead acts of kindness, inclusion, and service throughout the year and we can’t wait to see the positive impact they will make on our school and community! 💙💛
